Today is a special day

My friend Joyce told me that she had a feeling that this year would be the breakthrough year for me. I hope she's right. Tomorrow morning I will go to the post office and mail the query letter and synopsis off to a literary agency in New York City for Mysterious Castle. It was so fun finalizing everything today and getting the final prints ready to mail and sealing the envelope. Waiting for their response will be difficult. I try not to think about it, as to whether they will say yay or nay.

So how's it going? Making headway?

I'm currently reworking my cover letters to grab the reader's attention, per the guidance of a successfully published author of many similar books. Can't hurt! Then it will be time to resubmit all five novels. That is my main focus these days, getting published. I'm also working on another one, almost halfway into it. I lost access to some additions made a year ago. I don't recall the password, which I usually write down. The timing was bad, as I'd just switched smartphones and the newer one just isn't a Blackberry. (The news had reported they were going under. They didn't.) My next phone will be a Blackberry again. I kept my passwords in a safe on it. I miss that feature, but I won't buy the one offered through the online store the new phone....
